NUDEC Collaboration

  1. NUDEC’s collaborates with the Ministry of Health in a number of activities especially in policy reviews, capacity development (training) research and development of SBC materials. In policy review NUDEC is involved in the review of the 1992 Tanzania Food and Nutrition Policy, development of training materials such as On the Job Training Package for nutrition workers and materials on infant and Young child feeding. Also a member of technical working groups.
  2. Tanzania Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance (TANCDA): NUDEC is a member of TANCDA, in its capacity as a member participates in Policy Review and Advocacy, Development of Training packages and provide support in addressing nutrition issues at the Alliance
  3. Catalyste+ has been supporting in building the administrative and management capacity of NUDEC. Has provided technical support in the development of; NUDEC Strategic Plan, Human Resource Management Manual and the Financial Management and Accounting Manual. Currently Catalyste+ are supporting the development of the NUDEC website and will provide training in all aspects of maintaining the web presence.
